Swim W/ DOLPHINS at Missamis Occidental AQUAMARINE Park

april 26 was the day we went at MOAP..
it was fun and great swim with the dolphins. the 3 of us me, ate ting and POPONG..
the snorkeling was the great things we had experience. actually swim with the dolphins it didn't satisfied to me although 15 minutes then u had to pay 250. its to expensive grrrrrrrrr..
after we tried snorkeling it was great than swim with the DOLPHINS..
so sad we couldn't take a picture along the sea or in a water... huhuhuhu
but it was great going there...
i really want to go there bringing with someone else.. wish i could. but soon
hahahahahha
great going back there again and again.
it was great summer outing and unwind..

ABOUT MISSAMIS OCCIDENTAL AQUAMARINE PARK

HISTORY
Legislative Act No. 3537 passed on November 2, 1929 divided the old province of Misamis into Misamis Occidental and Misamis Oriental. The Occidental comprised the towns of Baliangao, Lopez Jaena, Tudela, Clarin, Plaridel, Oroquieta, Aloran, Jimenez, and Misamis. The original nine (9) municipalities of the province of Misamis Occidental grew into the present three cities of Ozamiz, Oroquieta and Tangub and the fourteen (14) municipalities of Aloran, Baliangao, Bonifacio, Calamba, Clarin, Concepcion, Don Victoriano, Jimenez, Lopez Jaena, Panaon, PLaridel, Sapang Dalaga, Sinacaban and Tudela with a total of 490 barangays.

The name "Misamis" is believed to have been derived from the Subano word "Kuyamis" which is a variety of sweeto coconut - the staple food of the early settlers in this place. During the years the name persisted as an inference of the geographical location and upon the advent of the Spanish settlers, the word "kuyamis" easily gave way to the more convenient pronounceable but corrupted word "Misamis".

Misamis Occidental - A major provider of agri-aqua based food, raw materials, industrial finished products and one of the eco-tourism centers in Mindanao through optimum and responsible utilization of resources.
